About
My Journey..
With degrees in both Engineering and management, the world of photography was alien to me until I picked up my first "real" camera back in 2011, I however had a visual aptitude for as long as I can remember.
Initially, it was just another hobby outside my 8-6 grind. I took my camera along on the weekends, and photographed whatever caught my eye. I also loved exploring new places, and photography complimented my travels - and keeping it up over the years, Galleriadumonde (gallery-of-the-world) has took shape via my meanderings through this wonderful planet.
This website is thus an afterthought, and a window into my passion projects.
My artworks are predominantly nature inspired, and nature oriented - this includes Landscapes, Wildlife, and Astro-photography and a hint of Cultures.
They are created primarily out of my love for all things nature, and the human spirit - and from a desire to pursue art for its own sake.
As a dilettante - Geology, Paleontology, Ornithology, Natural History, Astrophysics and Anthropology are some of the curiosity driven rabbit-holes I occasionally find myself in , and my artworks reflect such subject matter.
Gratitude!
I consider myself very fortunate to have met several amazing people, friends and strangers alike, as well as guides, tour operators, National parks staff, fellow travelers and other likeminded nature enthusiasts - from all over the world - who have made my travels awesome, and ever so kindly, helped in someway or another to make some of these images happen. I remember everyone of them the moment I look at the images they helped create.
Every image tells a story, but behind every image there are many more stories that go into making them, and those moments are what makes the whole journey worthwhile to me.
Namaste 🙏!
